广东工业大学环境生态工程研究院第二届国际青年学者环境生态论坛（“论坛”）拟于2020年3月29至31日在广东工业大学大学城校区举行。首届论坛汇集了来自美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、日本、香港及内地14所知名学府与科研机构的优秀青年学者，就环境生态领域前沿与热点话题进行深度交流，增进同行友谊，成功打造“立足粤港澳湾区、面向全球”的青年学者环境生态高端论坛。第二届论坛在“绿色湾区、活力湾区”新时代背景下，继续诚邀国内外环境生态领域的优秀青年学者共聚“五羊之城”——广州，增进学术交流，推动交叉研究领域合作，为解决国际环境生态前沿问题和推动区域社会经济可持续发展作出贡献。
论坛主办单位广东工业大学环境生态工程研究院，由中国工程院院士杨志峰教授于2018年创立，其建设秉持高起点和高目标，剑指国际科研创新前沿，并积极服务于国家和地方的经济社会发展与生态文明建设。研究院目前已聚集了包括院士、国家杰青、优青、国家高层次人才特殊支持计划科技创新领军人才、国家级与教育部高层次人才等在内的一批卓越的科技领军和创新人才，已拥有广东省实验室、教育部与广东省重点实验室等先进研发平台。现热忱欢迎国内外有远大抱负，有志于为生态环保事业奋斗的青年才俊加盟，共同在黄埔故地、宜居花城打造环境生态领域科研创新、人才培养、社会服务的国际化高地。

6、环境大数据与系统分析
二、申请条件
1、海外人才：年龄40岁以下；具有海外知名大学博士学位（含应届），或具有国内博士学位并在海外全职从事科研工作两年及以上，目前未全职在国内工作；具有强烈的学术抱负和较强的学术发展潜力，愿回国致力于我国生态环保教学与科研事业。
2、国内人才：年龄40岁以下；在国内环境生态领域取得突出成绩，形成特色研究体系，在国内外环境生态领域具有一定的学术影响力，并愿继续投身于我国生态环保教学与科研事业。
三、申请流程
1、请将个人简历以附件形式发送至ieee@gdut.edu.cn，邮件主题请注明“2020广工环境生态论坛”。
2、报名截止时间为2020年2月20日。
3、论坛承办方将于2020年2月29日前向受邀学者发送邀请函。
4、受邀学者于收到邀请函一周内填写回执并回复确认是否参会。
四、论坛安排
论坛于2020年3月29日—3月31日在广东工业大学大学城校区举行。具体安排如下：
3月29日，报到
3月30日—3月31日，论坛、交流、座谈、参观等
4月1日，离会
五、差旅与住宿
受邀参会的学者自订机票、火车票，学校报销往返机票、火车票费用（实报实销，根据国家规定机票限报经济舱）。论坛期间食宿由研究院统一安排，费用由学校承担。

The Announcement of the2020IEEE GDUT Environmental and Ecological Forum for International Young Scholars
The IEEE GDUT Environmental and Ecological Forum for International Young Scholars (IEEE GDUT Forum) aims to gather outstanding domestic and international young scholars at Guangdong University of Technology for inspiring and exchanging academic thoughts, enhance mutual exchange and cooperative actions.
The Forum welcomes participants in but not limited to the following fields: water resource, aquatic environment and ecology, pollution control and resource recovery, wetland, estuary and coastal engineering, urban/industrial planning and management, environment and health, environmental big data and system analysis.
1) Oversea Applicant:should be under 40 years old, holding a PhD degree from a well-known overseas university or research institute, or having a PhD degree from a domestic university or research institute with two-year or more overseas work experience and currently not holding a full-time position in China. Scholars with strong academic ambitions, achievements and potentials are strongly encouraged to apply.
2) Domestic Applicant:should be under 40 years old,with outstanding academic ambitions, achievements and potentials in environmental related teaching and research fields.
